Costa Cruises has named Mario Zanetti as its new President.
He moves up from CCO of Costa Cruises Europe to take over from Michael Thamm, who had been serving as interim Group CEO of the Costa Group and Carnival Asia.
Costa also announced that Roberto Alberti (pictured right) will replace Zanetti (pictured left) as CCO.
Alberti will oversee sales, revenue management, and marketing worldwide.
“The pause in our ship operations has been an opportunity to work on enhancing the Costa organisation to make our company stronger, ready for the restart with renewed energy, a clear commercial strategy and a greater customer-centric approach,” Thamm said.
“We look to the future with optimism. With this new organisation, we have the right people and skills to succeed in developing innovative strategies to attract and retain our customers through every channel and every source market,” he added.
