German ferry and ro-ro cargo operator TT-Line has partnered with Italian classification society RINA, to advance sustainability and digital transformation in maritime operations.
This collaboration aims to reduce CO2 emissions and improve energy efficiency across TT-Line’s fleet.
Together, the two organisations will implement strategies to meet the IMO’s environmental regulations.

As part of its recent fleet expansion, TT-Line launched its second LNG powered, green ferry, ’Peter Pan’, following the ’Nils Holgersson’, which was involved in the first LNG & BioLNG bunker delivery at Lübeck in 2022.
“Together, we’re not only moving people and cargo but driving real change,” Spadafora added.
“Under RINA’s guidance, TT-Line’s fleet is setting the benchmark for safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible maritime operations.”
