One of the latest cruise operators to install SpaceX Starlink satcoms is the Scenic Group.
By the end of this year, all four yachts in the Scenic Group fleet, including two Scenic yachts and two Emerald Cruises yachts, will offer a high-speed internet service.
The recently delivered ’Scenic Eclipse II’ is already fitted with Starlink on board, while ’Emerald Azzurra’ is scheduled to have the service installed by the end of this month.
In addition, when ’Emerald Sakara’ joins the fleet in August, she will also be equipped with Starlink. The company has also confirmed its intention to have the ‘Scenic Eclipse’ fitted with Starlink by the end of this year.
According to the company, these enhancements will enable guests to effortlessly stay connected with people back home. They can share their vacation experiences in real-time through social media platforms, uploading photos and videos, during their journey.
