MSC Cruises has unveiled a new four ship luxury cruise line – Explora Journeys.
The first ship, ‘Explora I’, is due to sail in 2023 and is already under construction at Fincantieri.
The three remaining ships will be delivered in 2024, 2025, and 2026, respectively.
They were designed in partnership with superyacht and luxury hospitality designers and will offer 461 suites and ‘residences’, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces, with rooms starting from 35 sq m, which MSC claimed was among the most spacious for the category in the industry
Cruises will be offered on an all-inclusive basis.
The ships will feature battery storage to allow for future hybrid power and ship-to-shore power capabilities.
