The fourth quarter 2019 was eventful for Swedish energy engineering company Climeon, which specialises in heat transfer.

Reporting its quarterly and annual results, the company said that Virgin Voyages approved its equipment on board during Scarlet Lady’s sea trials.

The first order from Fincantieri and Virgin Voyages was received in 2016, with the first delivery completed in December, 2017.

Climeon said that it had worked for several years to meet the demands of Fincantieri, Virgin Voyages and class society Lloyd’s Register to fit six modules on board.

At the same time, installation is on-going on board Virgin Voyages next two ships.

Looking at the full year 2019, net sales grew significantly, the company said, as a result of the organisational and strategic changes made within the company’s sales organisation.

During 4Q19, Climeon also delivered two steam turbines that will be tested by Viking Line.
