Climeon’s Heat Power modules have successfully passed sea trials on Virgin Voyages’ second cruise ship, ‘Valiant Lady’.

“I am very happy to have reached this milestone and I am proud of our employees for completing the installation on board the ‘Valiant Lady’, despite the challenges added by the pandemic this past year,” said Jan Bardell, Climeon CEO.

Climeon representatives were on board the vessel for sea trials, sailing from Genoa to Marseille and back.

The Heat Power modules performed as expected and were approved in the sea trials, the company claimed.

‘Valiant Lady’ is scheduled to operate her inaugural season in the summer of this year, offering weekly Mediterranean itineraries.

In addition to ‘Scarlet Lady’ and ‘Valiant Lady’, Climeon has delivered Heat Power modules to Virgin Voyages and Fincantieri’s third ship, ‘Resilient Lady’, which is currently being built in Italy.

This spring, Climeon is also delivering modules to the fourth ship in the series that Fincantieri is building for Virgin Voyages.
