The world’s largest Square-rigged sailing vessel, the former ‘Flying Clipper’, is to be re-named and operated by the UK-based cruise company Tradewind Voyages UK Ltd.
She is currently lying at Brodosplit shipyard, owned by Croatian industrial Group DIV, since being completed for Star Clippers who had refused to take delivery.
As of now, the ownership of the $100 mill Brodosplit 483, as the vessel is known, remains with the wholly owned subsidiary of the DIV Group.
She is claimed to be not only the largest but also the most advanced sailing vessel in the world.
