Windstar’s Delaney to step down

John Delaney, former President of Windstar Cruises has stepped down to focus on personal priorities.

Andrew Todd, President and CEO of Xanterra Leisure Holding, its parent company, continues as CEO of the cruise line.

Delaney (pictured) will provide advice to the brand during the transition period through March, the company said.

Christopher Prelog, Vice President of fleet operations and former Vice President at Seabourn Cruise Line, has taken on the role as Windstar Cruises COO.

Prelog’s entire professional career has been in cruise industry hospitality and he began his career serving on board ships.

Betsy O’Rourke, Xanterra’s Chief Marketing Officer and the former Senior Vice President of marketing at Royal Caribbean, will lend her expertise to the Windstar brand, according to the statement.
