‘Vasco da Gama’ to cruise out of Germany

Nicko Cruises new addition, ‘Vasco da Gama’, purchased by parent Mystic Cruises, is to sail under the German brand from domestic ports, according to the website.

She is due to cruise from May to September from Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Kiel.

‘Vasco da Gama’ previously operated for Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ (CMV) Transocean brand. Mystic Cruises acquired the vessel at auction in October, 2020 for $10.2 mill, following CMV’s bankruptcy.

She is currently lying in Setubal’s Lisnave repair yard undergoing refurbishment.
