UK-based Elite Exhibitions, the organiser of the Cruise Ship Interior (CSI) expo series, has announced another two events for the cruise industry.

These are – Cruise Xperience Innovation (CXI) Summit Europe, which will take place at London’s Excel Centre on the 4th and 5th December of this year and Cruise Xperience Innovation (CXI) Summit Americas, which will be held in Miami on 3rd and 4th June, 2025.

Both events will delve into the technological advancements and innovations revolutionising the guest experience on board the next generation of cruise ships.

As cruise lines consistently push the boundaries of on board guest experience by pursuing the latest innovations, CXI will offer a stage to advance this conversation, fostering industry collaboration and facilitating knowledge sharing, Elite said.

Each event will offer a comprehensive seminar programme  featuring thought leaders and experts who will discuss the latest technology in the cruise industry.

Participants will also be able to witness live product demonstrations, showcasing cutting-edge solutions designed to enhance the on board guest experience.

They will also be able to network with exhibitors who will be at the forefront of industry innovation, as well as attending a host of networking opportunities, designed to expand network and industry insights.

Cruise lines, shipyards and suppliers will showcase, demonstrate and unveil cutting-edge technology & innovations, exchange insights, and establish fresh connections with thought leaders driving the industry forward, the organiser added.

With a combination of seminars, product demonstrations, formal & informal networking and a show floor offering pioneering solutions, CXI will give buyers the opportunity to sharpen their competitive edge and build relationships with peers and suppliers.

Elite said that at its heart, CXI will prioritise the technological advancements propelling innovative guest experience and will centre around pushing the boundaries of immersive technology, smart room controls, interactive displays, wayfinding systems, RFID technology and culinary innovation. For their part, suppliers will gain access to decision-makers, driving the next generation of ships.

Through interactive exhibition stands, product demonstrations, and tailored meetings, companies will be able to effectively showcase their technology and products’ full scope and impact on the future of cruising.

“I am always looking for new ways to enhance guest experience on our ships, and CXI provides a much needed platform to connect with innovative suppliers and other stakeholders who are able to support this mission,” commented Janice Davidson, Vice President, Creative Brand Integration, Newbuild, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH).

Over the next few weeks, Elite will be releasing further details  about CXI, including the introduction of the Advisory Board, announcing the first sessions of the seminar programme and unveiling the suppliers that the participants will be able to meet at each event.
