Japan’s Ryobi Holdings has placed an order at Portuguese shipbuilder West Sea Estaleiros Navais for a yacht style small cruise ship, which is due for delivery in 2027.
She will be fitted with a marina on the stern, the first of its kind on a newly built Japanese-controlled ship.
The 9,000-10,000 gt small luxury ship will be able to accommodate around 100 to 150 pax (120 in twin berth cabins) with a crew of around 100.
Her length overall will be in the region of 110-120 m with a 19 m beam and a draft of 4.7 m, while her service speed will be about 15 knots.
The vessel’s interior design is being undertaken by Curiosity.
