Royal Caribbean beefs up UK sales team

Aaron Langford has been appointed Royal Caribbean International’s (RCI) UK and Ireland Senior Sales Director.

In addition, Nicki Lewis has been promoted to sales enablement director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Langford (pictured), previously based in the revenue management team at RCI’s UK headquarters between 2008 and 2019, relocated to Miami in 2020 to take on a centralised revenue management role.

Starting in June, his new appointment will see him rejoin the UK leadership team.

Langford’s experience in the Group includes roles with both Celebrity Cruises and RCI, as well as a secondment at the company’s Shanghai office when Royal Caribbean began cruising out of China.

In his new UK-based role, he will work to strengthen trade partnerships and he will lead a dynamic sales team.

Lewis, who was previously RCI’s sales enablement manager for EMEA, steps up to become sales enablement director.

She currently oversees the trade marketing function and is the revenue management team liaison across the EMEA region. She will continue to lead the UK sales function for RCI until Langford joins in June.
