Sarra Gray reporting for GBN on 27th February writes: “Cruise line unveils new entertainment for 2026, including robot parades and interactive game shows”.
Sarra continues: “MSC Cruises has unveiled a new entertainment lineup for 2026, including AI-powered robot dogs roaming the decks.
Guests can also enjoy new interactive entertainment options, including two brand-new game shows.
In a world-first for the cruise industry, the company is piloting robotic canines developed by Unitree Robotics aboard MSC Bellissima in Asia. The robots will be joined by humanoid companions as part of the trial.
The robot entertainment programme offers meet-and-greets where guests can get up close with the AI-powered dogs.
Guests can also discover a dedicated robot-themed parade that will make its way through the ship. The robots will even make dance appearances during the Doremix Family Disco, adding a futuristic twist to family fun nights.
For younger cruisers aged seven and above, interactive workshops will introduce them to robotics and future technologies in a hands-on, creative way.
The pilot is currently running on MSC Bellissima, with plans to bring the experience to MSC Magnifica during part of the World Cruise 2026.
The company is also giving some beloved classics a fresh lick of paint. The ’70s Party is getting a complete makeover across the entire fleet, featuring updated music, snazzier costumes, and more interactive elements.”.
