Rescompany System (Resco) has signed up One Ocean Expeditions (OOE) in collaboration with shipmanager Columbia Cruise Services (CCS) as a new customer.
Resco will support the hotel operations side of OOE’s RCGS Resolute with its on board point of sale and property management system technology.
OOE has operated in the Polar regions for over a decade and its third vessel begins her journey in November, 2018. The integration of RCGS Resolute into the OOE fleet has allowed the company to expand its worldwide expedition programming.
The majority of the year the vessels will operate in Antarctica and the High Arctic with new itineraries in Coastal Central America, Scotland & Iceland, Iceland & the Faroe Islands and Eastern Canada.
CCS is affiliated to the Columbia Group, a Hamburg-based third-party shipmanager, founded in 2014. The Cypriot predecessor, Columbia Cruise Group has a history of over 30 years in the maritime leisure industry.
Dedicated to cruise vessel management in the markets of expedition, luxury and classical cruising, CCS currently manages 10 cruise vessels for four clients on a worldwide basis.
Three more additions to the fleet are due to enter service next year. CCS offers the full range of shipmanagement services, including technical management, crewing and hospitality services. The fleet covers a passenger capacity range of 146 to 2,200.
Resco provides integrated database management solutions including Central Reservations (CRS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Property Management (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
