Pullmantur Cruceros appoints Yordanov as Director of Technical Shipmanagement

Spanish cruise line, Pullmantur Cruceros has appointed Yordan Yordanov (pictured) as Technical Shipmanagement Director.

He joined Pullmantur in 2007 and has since held different positions of responsibility.
Reporting directly to the Vice President Ship Operations, Benny Weidacher, at the Madrid head office, his main responsibilities will be the planning of drydockings; the co-ordination and supervision of technical services and the maintenance of the ships. He will also supervise budgetary control over technical ship operations.

On a day-to-day basis, Yordanov works closely with the technical teams on board the ships, as well as with global marine operations, the department in charge of co-ordinating maritime operations within the Pullmantur Group.

President & CEO of Pullmantur Cruceros, Richard Vogel, said that this appointment is “the result of the great work and commitment that Yordanov has shown since its incorporation and is one more example of the possibilities of professional growth that exist in our company.”
Prior to his promotion, since 2010, he had been working as Chief Engineer on board different ships in the fleet.
