P&O’s flagship ‘Britannia’ recently returned from her first refit carried out at Damen Brest.

Among the highlights of the refurbishment project was the atrium, which has been given a new lease of life to create a social hub at the heart of the ship, by day and night.

Following the success of temporary art exhibitions on ‘Britannia’, P&O has introduced a permanent new art gallery next to Blue Bar by the atrium. The Market Café has benefited from new furniture and décor, and a brand-new menu including ice cream creations from Hampshire dairy Jude’s.

The Java café now serves alcoholic drinks. It is located opposite The Glass House.

Just down the corridor from Java, The Photo Gallery has been upgraded to include the addition of a Dixons electronics hub featuring the latest imaging, computing and audio tech from Amazon, Apple, Beats, Bose, Canon, Fitbit, GoPro, Microsoft and Sony, among others.

In the Oasis Spa and Salon, P&O has created two ‘express spa’ pods boasting a range of treatments.
