Brokers have reported that the 1982-built cruise ship, ‘Bella Fortuna’, has been sold for recycling.

She was reported by the AIS websites as laid up at Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE.

Built as Royal Caribbean’s ‘Song of America’, she also traded as the ‘Sunbird’, ‘Thomson Destiny’, ‘Louis Olympia’ and ‘Celestyal Olympia’ before being sold out of the Louis Cruises’ fleet and being renamed ‘Bella Fortuna’ earlier this year.

No other details have been revealed thus far.
