Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) has teamed up with Burando Energies and World Fuel Services (WFS) to supply sustainable marine fuels during port stays in the Netherlands during the 2025 European season.

Six vessels in NCLH’s fleet, including ‘Norwegian Prima’, are receiving a 30% blend of ISCC-certified, waste-based biodiesel, cutting GHG emissions while remaining fully compatible with existing engines.

This milestone supports the group’s Sail & Sustain programme and demonstrates the power of collaboration in driving real progress toward a lower-emissions future for cruising, NCLH said.
