Last week, Global Ports Holding (GPH) confirmed that it had terminated merger talks with Swiss-based MSC Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC).
MSC subsidiary, SAS Shipping Agencies, had approached the world’s largest independent cruise port operator in an attempt to buy it.
However, SAS Shipping Agencies said last week that it no longer intends to make an offer for GPH.
