Lasse Stokkeland is to leave his position as general manager of Havyard Ship Technology (HST), with the result that the Board has appointed Erlend Hatleberg to replace him.

CEO of Havyard Group (HGR) and chair of the board of HST, Geir Johan Bakke said: “ I’m pleased that Erlend Hatleberg has accepted the challenge and is motivated to fill the role of new general manager of HST.

Erlend is originally from Leirvik, is passionate about the local community, and has demonstrated by the way in which he has led his teams through some of HST’s most demanding challenges, that he has the expertise and experience needed to lead a yard undergoing restructuring to make it more efficient and profitable.”

He graduated as an engineer in 2003, and has worked amongst others in Fundo. He started working in HST’s technical department in 2009, became project manager 2011, and has been responsible for deliveries of PSVs, construction vessels and icebreakers for Russian shipowners and now for Fjord1’s new series of ferries.

In connection with the management change in HST, Stig Breidvik will become new production manager. He has worked for HST since 1988 and has held different production management positions, the last 10 years as process manager, production.
