Genting Hong Kong is to fit three ships fitted with scrubber systems to be ready for 1st January, 2020 low sulfur cap cut off date.
Estonia-based LTH-Baas will retrofit the vessels for a reported €69.1 mill in total.
Under the contract, which was signed last month, LTH-Baas will provide full turnkey integration of the scrubbers for the respective vessels. The work is due to be completed by 2020.
In addition, the cruise operator signed a separate €7.7 mill contract with UMOS, by which it will provide support services for the scrubber installations.
