Fred.Olsen has moved all four of its cruise ships from Aberlady Bay anchorage in the UK’s River Forth to Babcock’s Rosyth repair facility.
Managing Director Peter Deer explained that with the vessels now being alongside together, this will allow Fred.Olsen to run a more efficient operation, including the general maintenance of the ships and crew changes.
“Our focus is now on working with other cruise operators, the UK government and cruise industry bodies to develop and implement new health and safety measures for when the world is ready for travel once again. I will keep you informed of these measures in future updates,” he said.
