Following the resignation of its controversial head Peter Hebblethwaite, P&O Ferries has appointed Kasper Moos as CEO effective late September.
Moos is a seasoned senior executive with extensive leadership experience in the maritime industry, including high-level roles at DFDS Group and AP Møller Mærsk.
He said: “I am delighted to join P&O Ferries as chief executive. This is a globally recognised brand in the ferry industry, one that today provides vital passenger and freight connections between the UK and continental Europe, and within the UK.
“I am looking forward to getting to work, continuing the transformation of this great company, and ensuring we are providing our customers with the high quality service they need,” he said.
Parent DP World Marine Services’ Global COO, Ganesh Raj, added: “Kasper Moos is an inspirational leader with extensive experience in this industry, and I am delighted he is joining as P&O Ferries CEO to lead the company to future success.”
