Eden unveils new cruise jetty

Eden, New South Wales, has welcomed the opening of a new cruise jetty.

The Eden breakwater wharf extension will play host to the ‘Pacific Explorer’, which is scheduled to arrive with more than 2,000 passengers on 15th September, local reports said.

She will be followed by another 21 cruise ships during the cruise season with visits expected to increase down the years.

The wharf was built in a successful partnership led by the NSW Government with a Aus$32 mill contribution together with Aus$10 mill from the Australian Government and Aus$2 mill from the Bega Valley Shire Council.
