Registration for the third London Cruise Ship Interiors Expo (CSIE), to be held at the London ExCeL complex on 30th
November and 1st December, has opened.
Registration is free and can be accessed at https://cruiseshipinteriors-
expo-europe-2022.reg.buzz/pr1
Cruise lines, design studios and shipyards will be show casing their offerings and will also update their understanding of the industry’s latest challenges and trends at the two-day exhibition
and free-to-attend conference.
More than 200 suppliers and service companies will be exhibiting, of which around 50 are new to CSI.
Cruise ship interior design is a specialist industry and, as such, the European market contains its own distinct niches, including the rapidly expanding expedition cruise market, small ship specialists river cruise market and the more luxury European ocean cruise market.
CSIE will be matching industry suppliers with buyers at its first-ever Speed Networking event in London.
Following the successful roll out of Speed Networking at its US sister event, CSI, two Speed Networking sessions will run per day.
Interior design continues to be at the forefront of sustainable product development. For example, Segula Lighting will be demonstrating a low voltage bulb, while Finnish company Secto Design will bring its sustainable expertise.
The synergy between European luxury small ship design and the superyacht sector continues, as GlassDeep, a company which builds underwater structures for superyachts, joins CSIE for the first time.
Herbert Parkinson, a fabric & textiles company, part of the John Lewis brand, will be making its cruise industry debut, while European expert in decorative painting and finishing,
Devlin in Design, will be bringing the company’s experience to the expo.
Interactive workshops will take place on different stands across both days, creating targeted conversations across the industry’s hottest topics, including sustainability, the supply chain and project delivery.
In addition, CSIE will bring the London flavour to the European cruise interiors industry with the CSIE Pub, which will be open on both days of the show and will feature classic social games and good, old-fashioned British pints.
No CSIE would be complete without the annual Opening Party, which takes place this year at The Fox, (29th November), while happy hour will be one of the highlights of day one (30th November).
By registering in advance for free, participants can waive the £100 onsite registration fee, plus gain an invite to the CSI Awards Ceremony.
This year’s Awards Ceremony takes place on 1st December. Previous winners have included SMC Design & Rottet Studio, Carnival, The Deluxe Group, Fincantieri, Agua Fabrics and more.
