Cruise Planners sees record booking week – introduces more tools

Cruise Planners, the US’ largest home-based franchise host travel agency, has passed its all-time sales record for a single week.

On 19th February, this year, as well as achieving record-breaking single week sales, Cruise Planners also surpassed the milestone of $1 bill in sales revenue.

Looking ahead, Cruise Planners said it is poised to break its own booking record set in 2023, as this year is already demonstrating strong growth.

Furthermore, the company reported a significant surge in departures for 2024, showing a remarkable 19% increase over the same period in 2023.

This surge in bookings reflected the growing demand for Cruise Planners’ curated travel experiences, the company said.

Looking even further into the future, Cruise Planners has revealed that advanced bookings for 2025 departures were already up by 33%, compared to the same period last year.

This showed that despite inflation and a poor economy, travel is still a strong draw for consumers.

In addition, the company has announced several new marketing initiatives to its travel advisors during its annual convention earlier this month.

These tools are designed to make it easy for advisors to reach their clients in new ways with creative, engaging and useful travel content during the vacation planning process.

Included are Maxx Intelligence, which is a new tool that leverages the power of AI to enhance content creation within CP Maxx,
Cruise Planners’ custom-built CRM and booking system.

Powered by the ChatGPT program, Maxx Intelligence allows advisors to easily and swiftly create new content or enhance existing content through artificial intelligence with the click of a button.

Cruise Planners claimed to be the first travel industry agency to leverage the power of AI with this fully integrated tool.

In addition, advisors can now easily create custom robust and professional emails, newsletters, flyers and more with the Maxx Creator tool.

Agents can easily choose from several templates and simply insert images, special offers, important links, and body copy leveraging Maxx Intelligence.

A new video library tool, CP Maxx will give Cruise Planners advisors the ability to further customise and personalise their clients’ experience.

Using this tool, advisors may upload a video file, or record their own video and easily share with clients or features in their marketing.

When recording a video, advisors can create a script to assist with the recording process and ensure a smooth recording experience.

Furthermore, videos can be presented to clients during an interactive LivePlanner session.

Cruise Planners advisors now have access to more than 100 different travel microsites that can be added to their websites, sent via email, included in confirmations and shared during Live Planner sessions.

These microsites feature cruise lines, tours, destinations, and travel styles, such as family cruising, and group travel.
