Carnival subsidiary, Costa Crociere ‘s ‘Costa Victoria’ is to drydock at Chantier Naval de Marseille upon her return to Europe next year.

Costa announced that she will leave the Chinese market and return to Europe to operate on Balearic Islands voyages starting in late March, 2018.

The company also said that the ‘Costa neoClassica’ will leave the fleet in March, as she will be surplus to requirements. The ‘Costa Victoria’ will take over the Costa neoRiviera’s itinerary, while ‘Costa neoRiviera’ will take over the ‘Costa neoClassica’s’ programme.

‘Costa neoClassica’ is the oldest vessel in the Costa fleet having been delivered in 1991. Broking sources have reported her sale to unknown interests, but Costa did not confirm the sale in the statement.
