Corsica Linea to take delivery of LNG ropax next year

Marseille-based ferry operator Corsica Linea is to take delivery of an LNG-powered ropax in July of next year, the company said on social media.

Named ‘A Galeotta’, the ropax is 206 m in length and will be able to accommodate 650 passengers, as well as 150 cars.

Under construction at Visentini, she was launched in September and is due to conduct sea trials in May, 2022, the company said.

She will be Corsica Linea’s first LNG powered ferry.
