‘Britannia’ to drydock at Brest

P&O Cruises ‘Britannia’ is to be receive an interior makeover while drydocked at Damen shipyard in Brest.

For example, the atrium will be given a new lease of life with new colour schemes and a fresh design.

Following the success of ‘Britannia’s’ temporary art exhibitions, P&O Cruises will install a permanent art gallery next to the Blue Bar.

Sweet treats from master pâtissier and foody Eric Lanlard will be available at The Market Café on Deck 5. This area has already benefited from new furniture and décor, as well as a menu with ice cream creations made in exclusive collaboration with Hampshire dairy, Jude’s.

On Deck 7, the Java café will serve alcoholic drinks. On the same deck, the photo gallery will include a Dixons electronics hub featuring the latest imaging, computing and audio tech from Amazon, Apple, Beats, Bose, Canon, Fitbit, GoPro, Microsoft, and Sony, among others.

‘Britannia’ left Southampton for Brest on 7th October and is due to return to Southampton on 23rd October.
