The 1993-built ‘Antares Experience’ has been sold to Indian recyclers without completing a voyage for her new owners, broking sources reported.

She will be better remembered as the ‘Costa Romantica’ and ‘Costa neoRomantica’ (pictured at Portland, UK) until 2020.

She was the second of the two ‘Classica’-class cruise ships in the Costa Cruises fleet, together with ’Costa neoClassica’ (now ‘Grand Classica’).

In July, 2020, she was sold to Celestyal Cruises and renamed ‘Celestyal Experience’.

On 2nd September, 2021, Louis Group announced that, due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis, the company had sold the vessel to an undisclosed buyer, but the ship sale reportedly generated €3 mill profit, which helped Celestyal’s liquidity.

In October, she was renamed ‘Antares Experience’.
