It has been reported that Mystic Cruises, a part of Portuguese financial holding company, Mystic Invest, has ordered two more Polar expedition ships.
They will be built by West Sea at Viana do Costelo.
According to local reports, the vessels will cost around €118 mill .
The newbuildings will be fitted with hybrid propulsion systems and will be able to accommodate 200 passengers and 112 crew members.
Mystic Cruises is soon to take delivery of the 9,300 gt ‘World Explorer’ (illustrated) building at the same yard. She will be chartered to Mystic Invest’s Nicko Cruises and Quark Expeditions.
