Royal Caribbean Group has appointed port operator, SSA Marine as stevedore at PortMiami and Port Everglades.
In addition, new arrival, Robert Moroney (pictured) will serve as General Manager for the company’s cruise operations in both ports.
This strengthens SSA Marine’s partnership with Royal Caribbean Group and its South Florida presence.
Moroney brings a wealth of experience in port operations to SSA Marine.
For the past year, he was Assistant Director of Operations for the cruise division at Port Everglades. Earlier, he headed up port operations for the Americas for Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services and directed shore services for Metro Cruise Services’ East Coast and Gulf regions.
He was director of cruise services at Ceres after spending 11 years with Royal Caribbean in worldwide operations guest port services.
